Thanks to all participants for a successful session at the NBMS Cook & Learn Session Series 101- Keep In-time & Cook On!
NBMS has shared our recommended approach to Time Management.
Tip #1: Evaluate the tasks/ situations at hand before making decisions.
Tip #2: Planning is three quarters of success and you need to think fast on your feet.
Tip #3: Prioritize and communicate clearly to stakeholders involved so that you are all on the same page. Develop a systematic approach.
Tip #4: Get organize as Chefs prep their “mise on place” ie in French is to have everything in place forms tools to ingredients!
Tip #5: Practice makes Perfect!
Tip #6: Always remember ” There is many a slip betwixt the cup & the lips”. The caramelization process for the Kaya was not only a test of patience but it showed that once you cross the critical temperature the sugar solution crystallizes instead of turning golden brown!
